       Saturday,  4 - 7 pm  
         Begin the school year gathering for a potluck to welcome         autumn with the families of the Lake Farm School. Plan to arrive  between 4 and 4:30. Please bring a covered dish to share and table ware for your family. The children will be flying kites so bring your favorite kite. You are welcome to invite friends and family. These celebrations will end at 7 pm.  

 

OCTOBER

6     Parent Toddler Program

20   Parent Toddler Program  11 am 
        We will have a 2 hour work session to help ready the school for the Haloween Festival. Please bring the following if you have them: weed eaters, trimmers, pruners, and garden gloves.  Don't forget water and a sack lunch.

27    Parent Toddler Program

24    Festival Study Group  7:30pm

31    Halloween Festival  6 pm sharp

         Join us for the magic path when characters come alive from the story just heard at 6 sharp. Weather permitting a hayrack ride followed by hot cider and treats by the bonfire. Please wear friendly costumes. Nothing scary! Family and friends are invited.  
The Magic Path is for children under the age of 10.

 

NOVEMBER

7    Festival Study Group  7:30 pm

9    Martinmas 
       campout and potluck dinner. Dinner arrival time between 5:30 and 6 pm. Bring your lantern, singing voices, food and table service. We will have  a traditional lantern walk and singing by the campfire.  For those of you wishing to camp out bring your tents and sleeping gear.

Advent Garden  
For the children of the Primrose Garden and Enrichment Program.  The Advent Spiral leads them into the time of year where the light within shines more brightly than the light without.  A quiet, contemplative celebration with music played by the Upper Grades students.

 

JANUARY

7   School Resumes from Winter Break

FEBRUARY

   Valentine's Coffee House
Saturday Hours to be announced.
Our annual school fundraiser hosted by The Dolphin Song. Invite all those you would like to share The Lake Farm School with.  It is a night of friendships, games and great desserts. More information will be posted later.
