SUMMER'S CHILD

Summer's Child is a day camp for children ages four to twelve years.  It is  located on a ninety-five acre organic farm with a wildlife and wetlands habitat.  The camp has full use of the site which allows for nature walks, building projects, natural craft projects, and a wonderful atmosphere for storytelling. 

This year's program will consist of two groups and two teachers. The younger group, with children ages 4 - 6 years, will be lead by Diana Meisinger. Ages 7 - 12 years will make up the older group and will be lead by Linda Meisinger. 

Healthy, mid-morning snacks and beverages will be provided.   Summer's Child is staffed by Lake Farm teachers and volunteers.

 How to get there: from Kansas City take Interstate 35 south to the second Gardner exit (there is a brand-new Texaco gas station), turn south, then left  at the second house along the road (big metal arch at the driveway entrance).
