Parent/Toddler Program 

 

     This 6 session program will meet Saturday mornings during the weeks of September and October 9:00 am to 11:00 am. The class is limited to twelve children withone or both parents present. The morning is filled with a rhythmic time for toddlers to imitate, explore, create with simple and natural materials, participate  in creative play, circle time,verses, singing and baking.

     For the children to participate in the activities they need role models which include the teacher along with their parents. The parent's role model includes daily tasks and care of the kindergarten room. This awakens the child's imagination which allows their will to flow  out of their play. These purposeful tasks, which include baking, washing, ironing, sewing, cleaning and taking care of our toys, meet the children where they are.

     The parents are together, apart from the children's activities, yet a part of the whole. Handouts books and discussion are incorporated in the program.

 

     If you are enrolled in the program and have yet another little one at home please feel free to bring your baby, attended by you, of course.

 

                 Important note

 If you or your child are ill with a cold, runny nose, cough, or fever - PLEASE REFRAIN from coming to class. This helps others to stay healthy. Please inform the school your family will be absent due to illness.

 

Tuition     $70.   Important: this class will not be prorated
